    Taps doesn`t go below 4

The TAPS setting does not go below four on my new 2010 22Ve.
The system is fine all the way up but stops at 4 on the way down - is this possibly a hydraulic issue? low fluid?
Any help you can give me would be appreciated...

2010 should be under warrantee. (that is, if you like your dealer enough to go back and get it fixed).
So this monkey walks into a bar...

Go back and look at the plate. Anything obstructing movement?
      Waiting for another good one!

Could be low fluid. The cylinders are spring return so they will go all the way up, but must have enough fluid to go all the way down. Have you noticed a leak? I had to replace one due to a leak.

When I get back to the lake this weekend I`ll give it a look and check the pump fluid levels. No obstructions in the way - that was my first thought too....Thanks for your feedback guys - first time on the forum and a first time Tigé / boat owner.

Sounds like low fluid. Hopefully it is.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

When it stops with the needle on 4, is there a change in the pitch of the motor? Plate could be moving its full range, but the gauge is out of cal.

Stop everything first. U should go to the tige touch and then setting. Then click the tap and reset. It is from my experience

I mean go to setup and click TAP CALIBRATION. It normally can fix it...

Thanks for your insight - I`ll give that a shot too.
Just as a general comment - it`s amazing that everyone takes time out of their busy day to respond to the problems we sometimes face as boat owners. It`s much appreciated and I really get the sense of community here at Tigé - curious whether other manfacturers have the same support from their owners?

YES the taps calibration will fix it.Get someone to feel the plate move all the way through range of motion.Taps up is 8 Taps down is 1.You don't need to start the boat just turn the key on and go to the calibration screen.
